Notice your body gently expanding and condensing with soft moving air filling and emptying your lungs. Describe to yourself the qualities of your breath: short or long, deep or shallow, smooth or rough… Return to your breath regularly. Recognize your patterns of inhaling and exhaling in relation to times of day, places you frequent, people around you or solitude, and thoughts or emotions forming your body space…
